Great location just a short walk from the centre. Amazing room really spacious with very high ceilings and an enormous bed! The pool area was a real bonus given the high summer temperatures and perfect after a hot day exploring.

Its allways a plesaute to return to M'ar de Ar. Facilities, location, breakfast and meals (dinner) all deserving high rate. A special mention to the restaurant concierge that has a very positive impact on the service.

It’s the second time we stayed there. The hotel is in an old palace and has a lot of character. It was clean, quiet, super well located, close to everything, easy to walk everywhere but also right at the Porta Velha (old city gate) which made it easy to get in and out by car. Breakfast was outstanding and the staff at hotel and the attached restaurant, Degust’ar, couldn’t have been more professional and friendly. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and spa.

The room was very comfortable and luxurious at a reasonable price. We appreciated the extra touches such as the bathrobes and slippers. The bath was comfortable. We also took advantage of the pool and sauna facility, and enjoyed both. Breakfast was very good, and staff was great.

Everything, perfect location, beautiful hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Could not fault anything and will revisit.

The staff was very accommodating with our early check in and was able to get us in a very nice room. This hotel was very comfortable with great bedding. There was also with a great breakfast buffet- wish we could have stayed longer
